| The A Cappella Choir was founded in September 1st 1999 to perform non-operatic works of the standard Choir repertoire. The real serious work of the choir started when Ms. Maya Gvinena was engaged as Choir Master in September 2000. Her intensive work with the Choir has led to a much higher artistic level. The Choir was put under the Artistic Supervision of Maestro Ahmed El Saedi to play an integral role to the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, performing Masterpieces of both sacred and symphonic music. For the past seasons, A Cappella Choir has participated with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra in the interpretation of great masterpieces. A German Requiem, The Messiah, Mahler's Second Symphony "Ressurection", Haydn's Creation etc.. |

| Maya Gvineria (Choir Master) Born in Tibilissy, Georgia, she received a Piano Diploma from Tibilissy National Conservatoire in 1987 and became the Head of the Piano Department. Besides, she worked as well with the conducting and Choir department of the National Tibilissy Conservatoire. She resided in Cairo Egypt since 1998, hired by the Academy of Arts in Cairo, & then she became Opera-Repiteteur at the Cairo Opera House. Since 200, Mrs. Gvineria has been appointed the Choir Master of the A Cappella Choir.
